Our Heavenly angel, Jaren Paul Suber, beloved son of Paul and Karen Suber, of Rowlett, Texas, was called home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:55pm. Jaren, also known as “Suberman” was a true hero to those who knew him and to all who loved him. His infectious smile encouraged many for the 18 years of his life.
His parents, Paul and Karen Suber welcomed their son on May 2, 1999. Jaren came to know the Lord early, and was baptized at the age of 10. Jaren had an overwhelming passion for Christ and desperately wanted everyone to develop a personal relationship with Him. Jaren was diagnosed with Pineoblastoma, a rare brain carcinoma, in May of 2011. However, he beat the odds and chose to “never give up” for over six years, even earning a black belt in Tae Kwon Do during his journey.
Jaren was an Honor Graduate and Outstanding Tiger Award recipient of the Class of 2017 from Harmony School of Innovation. He was also accepted into the prestigious Texas Christian University (TCU) and aspired to be a Chemical Engineer. One of Jaren’s most outstanding qualities, was to always put the wellbeing of others before his. During his initial journey through the fight with cancer, Jaren had a desire to meet with the 44th President of the United States, President Barack Obama. This wish was granted on March of 2014, where Jaren discussed health care policies geared towards potentially increasing government funding for pediatric cancer. Furthermore, this event was captured and featured in a series as one of the best White House memories of President Obama’s administration.
Jaren blessed the lives of his parents, family, and friends with a harmonious laugh, benevolent spirit, and contagious smile. The family made memories playing video games, watching movies, DJ’ing parties with his cousin, worshipping together with family and friends, and traveling on various vacations. Lastly, Jaren also loved the beach, and one of his last wishes was to go to the beautiful state of Hawaii. This wish was granted on May of 2017, where Jaren and his family privately toured the majestic Maui road to Hāna. It goes without saying that Jaren Paul Suber lived a complete life and was extremely well loved by many.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his doting grandmothers, Elsie Davis of Greenville, TX and Beverly Suber of Cleveland, OH, grandfathers Nathaniel Suber of Cleveland, OH and Jessie Morris of Greenville, TX, great grandfather Nathaniel Suber, Jr. of Cleveland, OH; aunts, Monisha Davis of Las Vegas, NV, Latoya Suber of Cleveland, OH and Marina Harris of Rowlett, TX.
