Javier Jose Soto

Javier J Soto, 68, beloved husband, father, brother and friend went peacefully to the lord on Friday, August 14th. The El Paso TX native graduated from Burgess High school in 1970. He is known for his many talents and occupations such as Electrical Engineer, Orthopedic Technician, Patient/ER Technician & Executive Engineer and Aero Design Engineer for NASA’s space shuttle “Columbia”. He recently retired from GMI/AVT INC. in late 2019. He was a long time parishioner of St. Paul church where he helped manage the security team and volunteered in the Faith Formation program. He is survived by his wife Beckie and daughter Regina (Tyler Smith). Preceded in death by parents and sister Celia Lopez Soto; Jose A. Soto Jr.; Julie Soto.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the St Paul Catholic Church memorial prayer garden. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 12 at 10am at St. Paul Catholic Church, located at 720 S Floyd Road, Richardson, Texas.
