

Jeremy Alan Hey, born on September 9, 1977, in Oklahoma City, was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He passed away on December 30, 2023, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Jeremy spent his formative years in Choctaw, Oklahoma, where he developed a passion for baseball and wrestling. His dedication and skill led him to be a significant part of two state championship wrestling teams, leaving an indelible mark on the sport he loved.
After graduating from Choctaw High School in 1996, Jeremy pursued higher education at Rose State College before joining the US Navy. During his time in the Navy, he served on the distinguished USS Destroyer Shiloh, demonstrating his commitment to serving his country. Jeremy made lifelong friendships with his fellow shipmates.
Upon returning home, Jeremy continued his academic pursuits at Oklahoma State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies in December 2006. His professional journey led him to work at Eaton Electrical Services and Systems as a District Support Engineer from 2018 to 2023. His expertise and dedication to his work made a significant impact on his colleagues and the company he served.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Jeremy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He valued moments spent fishing, playing horseshoes and relaxing on the beach. He enjoyed snow skiing and traveling with friends on new adventures. Saturdays and Sundays held a special place in his heart, as he maintained his tradition of dining at Desperados Mexican Restaurant while unwinding with friends and watching football games as an avid fan.
Jeremy was known for his infectious laugh and dry wit. His playful nature shone brightly as he delighted in joking and clowning around with his brothers, friends, and beloved family members.
A devoted and loving dog dad, Jeremy provided unwavering care and affection for over 13 years to his precious companions, Stella and Sophie. His compassion and devotion to his furry loved ones reflected the depth of his nurturing soul.
Jeremy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Lester and Marcilene Hey, Les and Sue Harting, Rex and Rea Maltsberger, as well as his beloved canine companion, Stella in April of 2023.
Jeremy is survived by his loving family, Parents, Randy Hey and wife Debra, Linda Hey and fiancé Steven. Brothers, Derrick Hey and wife Brooke, Matthew Hey and partner Manuel and his other beloved canine companion, Sophie.
Jeremy Alan Hey's legacy as a tremendous son, brother, coworker and friend will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. A Celebration of his Life is tentatively planned for January 27, 2024. Additional details will be updated to the Sparkman website.
Condolences can be expressed through donations to the Richardson Animal Shelter, in his memory, a cause close to Jeremy's heart.
