Kathy married the love of her life, Larry Moser, on November 13, 1971. Together they shared 54 years of marriage, building a life rooted in devotion, faith, and family. At the center of Kathy’s life was her family, her husband Larry, her son Jason, her daughters Bridget and Genevieve, and her son Mark. She was a constant presence in her children’s lives, especially during their school years, where she generously volunteered her time and energy wherever she was needed.
Kathy will be remembered most for her warm smile, her genuine kindness, and her deeply nurturing spirit. She had a way of making people feel cared for and at home. She had a completely selfless heart, always putting her family and friends before herself and helping others quietly, never looking for recognition. No matter the circumstances, Kathy’s outlook remained steady and hopeful, often summed up in her favorite saying: “life’s good.”
She is survived by her husband, Larry Moser; her children, Jason Moser and daughter-in-law Brooke; Bridget Moser; Genevieve Moller and son-in-law Hans; and Mark Moser and daughter-in-law Gracie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mia Moser, Merrick Moller, Kate Moser, and Madden Moller; her siblings, Charles Welker and Martha, Theresa Pierce and Bill, Alex Welker and Kim, and Mark Welker and Betsy.
A vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. on February 1, 2026, at Christ the King Church in Dallas, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on February 2, 2026, also at Christ the King Church.
