Leonard John Zarychta, 87 years old, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020. He was a loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Friend, who cherished his loved ones. He was married to Cecilia for just shy of 65 years until her passing in 2018. They were happy together, and it was appropriate that he went to meet her in Heaven on Valentine’s Day. He was a veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Leonard had a wicked sense of humor, and he liked to make people laugh . . . which he did often! He sometimes displayed a gruff exterior, but he had a soft spot in his heart, especially for the children in his family, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed playing dominoes and Bingo, and he was a formidable Hearts player. Leonard never turned down a trip to WinStar with his family and he loved the slot machines. He was also a big NASCAR fan and never missed a Dallas Cowboys football game. Leonard loved his family . . . Nancy, Danny, Zach, Tricia, Aiden and Josh . . . Pam, John, Joey, Lindsey, Michael, Luke, Kyle and Jake . . . Ronnie, Debi, Katie, Justin, Avery, Brooklyn, Austyn, Chris and Thi . . . Brenda, Daryl, Chris, Michelle, Sam, Thomas and Riley . . . brothers and sisters, Ed, Jimmy, Elizabeth, Barbara and Mary Ann . . . and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Leonard’s name to the National Kidney Foundation or your favorite organization that supports our veterans.
