

Passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 of advanced Alzheimer's Disease with her husband Mike and daughter Rosemary at her side. Margaret, 91, was a resident at Windsor Senior Living in Dallas at the time of her death.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Jarmer and 10 siblings: Joe, Anne, Frances, Magdalen, Sr. M. Lucile, Kathryn, Dorothy, Marie, Emelia, Alois, and son David Louis at birth. "Mike" is survived by husband, Mike Conlin; daughters, Rosemary (Michael Cahill) Conlin, Grand Rapids, MI; Margot Shirley, Lake of the Ozarks, MO; grandchildren, Matt (Jen) Furjanic, Melanie (Dave) Ryan, Lucy Conlin Cahill, Nina Conlin Cahill and great-grandchildren: Grayson Furjanic, Parker Marie Ryan and Elliot Conlin Ryan.
Visitation and rosary will be held at Sparkman Richardson Funeral Home, 1029 S. Greenville Ave. Richardson, Tx on Tuesday, Dec. 27 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be at St. Rita Catholic Community Church, 12521 Inwood Rd. Dallas, Tx 75244 on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 9 a.m. Interment will be at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Tx at 1 p.m.
Mike was born the youngest of eleven children on April 23, 1925. She grew up in St. Leo, Kansas. After leaving school she traveled to and worked in several Western states, eventually settling in Los Angeles as a radio operator for Western Air Lines in the mid 1940's.
She married Mike Conlin in June 1949. Mike and Mike welcomed two daughters and one son. The family moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1961. In 1966, she took her first flying lesson igniting a lifelong passion for flying. Shortly, Mike earned her Commercial Pilot license and Instrument rating. She was a Life Member of the 99's and competed in several Michigan Small Races.
In 1973, the Conlin's moved to Wichita, KS then to Dallas, Tx not long after. The move to Dallas opened up even more opportunities to participate in the flying community. Mike was a long time supporter of the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Love Field serving over 20 years with her husband as Registrars of the Museum's library, archives and artifacts.
Mike was also Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of Merlin Enterprises, Inc. an Aviation Consultancy. In that capacity, she attended aviation business forums all over the world.
Mike was an avid traveler, seeing the world, all seven continents, with her husband. She was happiest when she could share the places she loved with her family.
