She married J.T. Rice on August 4, 1965 in Dallas, TX, he preceded her in death on February 27, 1996.
Her loving family includes her daughters, Amy Christine Rice of Athens, TX and Elizabeth Ann Barron of Garland, TX; grandson, Jacob Reed Barron; sisters, Anne Chance, Frances Bowden and Catherine Clark; brothers, Jim, Joe and Bill Ruffing; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Robert, Dolores and Alice Ruffing.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Sparkman Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, September 11, 2015 at Sacred Heart Cemetery Chapel, 3900 Rowlett Rd. Rowlett, TX 75088.
