Monte Rex Srygley Jr.

Jackson, MS to Monte Rex Sr. and Bama Srygley. Monte was raised in Ft. Smith, Ark. He was a valued member of the Armed Forces

where he made many creditable contributions to the AFOSI and the United States Air Force. He served active duty in Korea,

Vietnam, and the Philippines, with many years as a special agent in the AFOSI. He retired from the USAF after

serving 27 years. He was a contract Investigator for several government agencies, a member of the 75th Air Depot Wing

Association.

He was preceded in death by his father, step-mother Monte Rex Sr, and Georgia Srygley; mother, Bama Srygley; and sister, Sarah Warner.

Survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Patsy Srygley; stepsons, Michael Melton and wife Jaci and Steve Melton; stepdaughter, Carol Jones and husband Darren.

Grandchildren: Jennifer Mack, Ashley Maxey, Leslie Carter, Micah Cupp, Megan Bishop, Nicholas Melton, Brandon Curtis.

Great-grandchildren: Dylan, Cole and Wyatt Mack, Marchessa, Leila and Vanessa Carter, Victoria Maxey, McKinley and Degan Cupp, Byntlee and Bracynn Bishop. Aunt, Wanda Srygley; several cousins and many friends.
