Paul was born May 19, 1915 in Salisbury Center, New York, and passed away September 26, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. Paul received his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana State University in 1938. He served his country during WWII as a Captain in the U.S. Army, and was decorated with the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. After his military service, Paul returned to his career at Texaco Co, which he was with for 42 years, until his retirement at age 65. During that time he was recognized with the National Safety Council President’s Medal, and the American Petroleum Institution Meritorious Safety Award.
Paul is survived by his son, Lance Sindo and wife Karen; and daughter, Micki Sindo Webb and husband Lloyd. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 4 at 10:00 AM in Joyce Hall at Presbyterian Village North.
