

Becky, the youngest daughter of Silverio Zanoria and Susana Marababol, was born in Tipolo, Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines on August 24, 1939.
She graduated with a degree in Dentistry from the Southwestern University of the Philippines.
Becky was married to William Johnson (deceased) of Colorado Springs at the Resurrection Catholic Church, Manila, Philippines. From this union was born a son, Noel Zanoria Johnson, 37 years old.
After passing the Philippine Dentistry National Licensure Exams, Dr. Rebecca Johnson had a successful solo private practice. She served as the President of the Cebu Dental Association and initiated various outreach projects for the needy. She migrated to the United States in 1979 and since then until retirement, worked at Baylor College of Dentistry.
Becky Johnson was a key leader in various Filipino-American organizations. She served as president of the cultural group, Wings A’Men; president of the philanthropic organization, PCCI International; and, founder and coordinator of the religious group, Sto. Niño de Cebu of North Dallas.
No needy person was ever turned away by Becky Johnson. Her house always had folks who needed a place to stay and always overflowed with friends who just dropped in on her knowing each of them occupied a special place in her heart. Becky’s generosity was not just on a personal level; she led several PCCI medical and dental missions to the Philippines and helped raise funds for calamity victims both here and abroad.
Becky is survived by her son Noel Zanoria Johnson, sister Avelina Zanoria-Tumulak and husband Emigdio who live in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 600 S. Jupiter Road, Richardson, Texas 75081.
A visitation and vigil will be held the evening prior, Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sparkman Richardson Funeral Home located at 1029 S. Greenville Avenue, Richardson, TX 75081.
