Robert William Evans

Robert William Evans April 16, 1996 - April 30, 2016 Born and raised in Lake Highlands, Dallas, TX and most recently lived in Prescott, AZ. Robert was a free spirt who loved skateboarding, hiking, drawing, video games, music and movies. Robert lit up a room with his enormous smile and could make you belly laugh with his hysterical impersonations. He loved spending time with his buddies and the light of his life, Jacquelyn. Robert was loved for his quick wit and his loyal friendship. Mostly Robert will be remembered for his sweet, loving nature and his unpretentious and easy-going manner. Robert is survived by his father, Daniel Rhys Evans, Dallas, TX; mother & step-father, Leslie & Stuart Wilding, Sugar Land, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Kristina & Nathan Hopkins, and nephew Cooper, Crandall, TX; sister, Taylor Wood, Sugar Land, TX; brother, Kyle Cowart, Santa Fe, TX; paternal grandparents with whom he had a close and special relationship, Peggy & William Evans, Dallas, TX; maternal grandparents, Peggy & Robert Walpole, Santa Fe, NM; girlfriend, Jacquelyn Jauregui, Plano, TX; extended family Becky & Paul Winkler and Andrew and Matthew, Austin, TX; Stacey & Larry Ziems, Houston, TX; Melanie Ziems, Houston, TX; Jennifer & Ernie Gonzales and Joseph and Olivia, The Woodlands, TX. Robert lost his long and courageous battle with drug addiction, but it was not his addiction that defined him. Robert leaves a legacy of his huge heart that embraces each of us whose lives he touched. We will be forever changed by his absence in our lives. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Northaven United Methodist Church, 11211 Preston Rd., Dallas, TX at 11:00 AM.
