

She grew up in Dallas, graduated from JJ Pearce High School and earned her degree in Sociology from the University of North Texas. She found great joy and fulfillment in her work at Dallas Desk in Addison.
Sam was a gift from God and had a beautifully sweet and kind heart. She cared deeply for the many friends she had throughout her life. In addition to being an amazing friend, Sam was the best daughter and sister a family could ever hope for. Her warm, gentle spirit was always a blessing to her family and will never be forgotten.
Sam was preceded in death by her father, Davy Eitel; grandparents, Billy Eitel, Joe and Mildred Donald and uncle, Sammy Donald.
She is survived by mother Kay Ridenour; sisters, Torie Coleman, Tiffany Strasner and husband Jeff; grandmother, Delilah Eitel; uncles, Albert Eitel, Jerry Eitel and wife Terry; aunt, Jodi Donald; nephew, Dylan Coleman and niece, Jaiden Coleman, and numerous cousins. Piggy, Sam’s cat, will miss her best friend.
A celebration of Sam’s life will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Sparkman Richardson Funeral Home, 1029 S. Greenville Ave., Richardson, Texas 75081. Dr. Scott Fenton of Meadows Baptist Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, a donation in honor of Sam may be made to SPCA of Texas,www.spca.org
