He was born in Birmingham, AL on March 9, 1945 to Kathryn Rae and Alvin Eugene Klein.
After moving to Dallas, TX in 1969, He developed and provided many talents to the manufactured housing industry; in 1972 he started his own company. Steve had a passion for coaching his two sons and many others in soccer and other sports as well.
Steve was survived by his wife Margareate; son, Steve Klein, Jr. and wife Traci; son Michael Klein; Four grandchildren, Amanda, Jordan, Taylor and Preston Klein; Three Sisters, Eugenia Smith, Kathy Brown and Jackie Hodges; One brother, Jim Klein.
He touched many lives and will be remembered by many. He was the best dad and husband and was a very generous man who was loved by most everyone he met and never met a stranger.
Funeral services will be held Thursday February 18, 2016 at 11:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 MeadowCreek Dr. Dallas, TX 75248. A reception will follow the service at the church.
Interment will follow at Sparkman/Hillcrest Memorial Park.
