His family moved to Mississippi in the late 1950’s, where he attended Forest Hill School and was an All-Star Football player, and later graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in Accounting. He met his beloved wife, Sue, in 1966 and they married in 1969 and moved to Dallas, TX where he began an extremely successful career in Auditing and later Risk Management. He and Sue made a life together and celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 2019, when he also retired from Celanese Corp. He touched many with his kindness, ethics, and business acumen. He was a strong Christian and instilled that faith in his children and grandchildren, providing a great example of following Jesus.
He will be sorely missed by all whose lives he enriched.
