

Dr. Hildinger, son of Paul and Mae Ola Hildinger, was born in Nash, Oklahoma on February 16th, 1932. He married Mary Bulard of Ardmore, Oklahoma on November 21st, 1956.
Dr. Hildinger graduated from Cherokee High School in 1950, and then attended Oklahoma A&M College (now known as Oklahoma State University). In 1954 he received a B.S. degree in forestry. While at A&M he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity and active on the campus. He enlisted in the Army after graduation and served for two years in Paris, France. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he graduated from the University of Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1961.
After receiving his dental degree he moved to Altus, Oklahoma to practice his profession. He was an active member of the Rotary Club, including serving as president, as well as chairman of the city library board. He also served on the Altus chamber of commerce and as president in 1972. He served as president of the Southwest District Dental Society, and on the Altus School Board for a number of years. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, serving as a deacon, as an elder and in many other capacities.
He is survived by his wife Mary, one daughter Nancy Hildinger, son and daughter-in-law Robert Dene and Cynthia Hildinger, and grandchildren Isabella Grace and Andrew Dene Hildinger, all of Plano, Texas. He is also survived by his twin brother and sister-in-law Gene and Barbara Hildinger, as well as his nephews Dr. Mike Hildinger, Steve Hildinger and Doug Hildinger, and Dr. Ronald Bulard and George Bulard.
Memorials may be sent to the Altus Presbyterian Church or the OSU Foundation.
Graveside services will be held at the Sparkman/Hillcrest outdoor pavilion, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas, 75225 at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 22nd.
