Claudell L. Segure came into this world on a warm July 13, 1943, in Shreveport, Louisiana, as the beloved child of Clarence Segure and Alice Elaine Segure. Three years later, the Segure family relocated to Richmond, California, in 1946, where they later welcomed two more children, Jeremiah and an infant daughter who was regrettably, lost at birth.
Claudell's passion for sports, particularly baseball, was evident during his youth. On December 24, 1965, Claudell found eternal love with Shirley, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together.
Claudell dedicated over 30 years of his life to Pabco Roofing, a testament to his strong work ethic. In his later years, he cherished his family, indulged in fishing, engaged in lively bingo games, and occasionally visited the casino. He had a passion for barbecuing and relished watching classic western cowboy movies.
Claudell's memory lives on through his loving wife, Shirley Segure, and their daughter, Beverly Barker. He is survived by his granddaughter, Charmaine Walker, as well as five great-grandchildren: Damariey Smith, Damarcus White, ReAna Brown, RaVon Brown, and Aniyah Walker. His brother, Jeremiah Segure, mother-in-law Geraldine Johnson, aunt Thelma Jackson, uncle Claudell Woods, and brother-in-law Phillip Brown also carry his memory forward, along with a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Claudell's passing left a void in the lives of his loved ones. He now rejoins his parents, Clarence and Alice Segure, along with two brothers, Clarence Segure Jr. and Lee Arthur Segure, and his grandson, Maurice Walker, who await him in the afterlife. Additionally, he is reunited with aunts Helen Martin, Betty Jean Martin, and Deloris Brown, sister-in-law Joann Brown, and brothers-in-law Charles Brown, Alexander Brown, Kennyray Brown, and TJ Johnson.
