Emma Mary Perez

Resting in peace, together again...Your unconditional love, unmatched humor, and true Italian grit will be forever cherished and deeply missed...Love you, Grandma... Emma was born in Wanamie, PA one of Antonia Valentini and Pietro Selli's eight children. The family migrated to San Francisco's North Beach during the 1930s. There she met the love of her life, William Perez. They were married at St. Francis Church on June the 29th, 1940. They raised their two sons, Bill and Ted in a loving and extended family. Emma was employed by Soule Steel as a cost accountant from 1953 to 1981. In 1979, Emma and Will relocated to the house they built in Guerneville, CA. In retirement, Emma volunteered at the Russian River Senior Center, leading the exercise classes in collaboration with her good friend, Fran Lavin. She is survived by her son, William (Carol), grandchildren, Lisa (Scott) Peterson, Laura Perez, Joaquin (Kristin) Perez, great-grandchildren, Nick and Angie Korobi, Sabrina and Sofia Muehleis-Perez and Henry Perez. Emma was preceded in death by her husband, William (1995) and son, Ted (2013). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's Church, 14095 Woodland Drive, Guerneville. A casual reception to follow at Armstrong Woods, Smokey's Den Picnic Area. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Russian River Senior Center, 15010 Armstrong Woods Road, Guerneville, CA 95446. Keaton's Mortuary handling arrangements.
