

Frank was born in Detroit, Michigan, on October 20, 1935, to Frank and Angeline (Paja) Baczynski. He graduated from Cass Technical High School and attended Wayne State University. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1959 and stationed at the Presidio of San Francisco. He married Constance Paré on February 17, 1962.
Frank had a career in Electrical Design, working for Bentley Engineering Company in San Francisco for 35 years, then for Hansen & Slaughter, Inc., in San Rafael for 3 years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 3950, and SIR Branch 134. His passions were gardening and cooking, especially baking many types of bread. He and Connie enjoyed driving across the United States and Canada several times to visit family and friends.
He is survived by Connie, his loving wife of 54 years, daughters Catherine (Ron) Artigues; and Krista (Dan) Claassen; and a son, Michael (Susan) Baczynski. Also survived by grandchildren Kyle Baczynski, Renée Artigues, Tyler Baczynski, Michael Claassen, Jacob Claassen, and Jesse Forbes. He is preceded in death by his mother, Angeline; his father, Frank; and his brother, Eugene. He is also survived by his sisters, Joanna (Robert) Endres, and Patricia (Walter) Macina, and sister-in-law Dorothy Baczynski, and several nieces and nephews.
A Vigil and Rosary will be held at Keaton’s Mortuary, Novato, at 7 p.m. on Thursday June 16; and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Loretto Church, Novato, at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 17.
