Deborah Pratt

Deborah “Debbie” Jo Pratt, age 66, passed away on March 21, 2026, in Katy, Texas. She was born on April 14, 1959, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Robert “Bob” and Eleanor Edge. She is survived by her husband Mike Pratt, son Josh Pratt (Jenni), daughter Kristen Merkle (Trey), granddaughters Lyrah Pratt and Tristyn Merkle, sisters Doris Philpott (Lonnie), Susan Edge, and brother Robert Edge (Melissa), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Debbie grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma where she spent her early years creating many cherished memories with her family. Debbie was involved in Brownie Scouts, church youth group, school choir and band. These experiences reflected her vibrant spirit and love of community. She graduated from Muskogee High School in 1977.

Debbie married her husband Mike on December 23, 1978, and celebrated 47 years of marriage and over 50 years together. She dedicated her life to caring for her family as a stay-at-home mother, creating a home filled with warmth, love, and laughter. She found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved most. Debbie was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud and adoring “MeeMaw” to her granddaughters. Whether she was sewing, singing, playing the piano or ukulele, or sitting on the floor playing Barbies with her granddaughters, Debbie made every moment special. She was especially known for her delicious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, a treat that brought comfort and smiles to all who knew her.

Debbie will be remembered for her kind and selfless heart. She was someone who always put others before herself, offering love, care, and support without hesitation. Her gentle presence and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Graveside services will be held at Forest Park Southwest Funeral Home and Cemetery on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
