He accepted Christ early in life and was baptized at Greater Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
Michael graduated high school from Central High School in 1983.
Michael's love for roller skating, bbq's, family gatherings and football made him the life of the party. Being around Michael always meant a good time and lots of laughter. His joy was making people laugh with his CRAZY antics...y'all know. He was loved by all he met, friends family and co workers.
Michael's parents Ira T. Barsh, Sr. and Johnnie Ruth Barsh along with 3 other brothers preceded him in death.
Michael departed from this life on Monday, March 30, 2026.
He leaves to celebrate his legacy, his wife of 28 years Mrs. Kimberlin Watkins-Barsh, three daughters, Jazmen (Christopher) McKoy, Monique (Ke-Ke) Barsh, and Kendra Jamice Watkins-Barsh. Three sons, Jarrell Kenton Carraway, James Isaiah Watkins-Barsh and Michael Lamont Barsh, Jr. Brothers Eric (Tammy) Barsh, John (Regina) Barsh, David Barsh, Anthony Barsh, Joseph Barsh, Raymond Barsh, Russell Barsh, Jerome Barsh.
