Ann Kaye Edwards

Kaye loved playing golf and was a member at the Hollows Golf Club for years until she wasn’t able to play anymore. She loved the beach and playing in the pool with her grandchildren, and even taught them how to swim. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. They brought her so much joy and happiness.

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, George Grubbs and Myrtle Grubbs.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Carlton Ray Edwards; her daughter, Angela Faye Young and husband, Daniel Young; her son, Carlton Ray Edwards and wife, Elizabeth Edwards; her grandchildren, Dustin Young, Kaylee Young and Christie Edwards; her twin sister, Faye Robertson; and brothers, Bobby Grubbs, Ken Grubbs and Steve Grubbs. Also, there are numerous nieces and nephews.

Kaye's family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 24, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229, where funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Paws for Veterans at www.pawsforveterans.com.
