ASHBURN, Arnold Russell, 87, of Richmond, retired employee of Dupont and Nabisco went to be with the Lord April 13, 2011. He was preceded in death by his son, Rich Ashburn. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Dot Ashburn; three children, D.C. Ashburn, Rusty Ashburn and Judy Ashburn, all of Richmond; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Ashburn was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II and a member of Providence United Methodist Church. He will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., and where services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
