Betty Ann Burnette

BURNETTE, Betty A., age 73, of Short Pump, Va., passed away suddenly Saturday, June 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood C. Burnette Jr.; two sisters, Peggy L. Morris and Shirley Snead Hobbie. She is survived by one daughter, Linda A. Williams and husband Bob; two sons, Mickey L. Burnette and wife, Ramona and Rickie C. Burnette and wife, Chris; one sister, Bonnie M. Messer and husband, Donald; two brothers, Tommy R. Morris and wife, Gay and Charles Randall Morris and wife, Kathy; three grandchildren, Kellie R. Brooks and husband, Ty, Tyler C. Burnette, Anthony J. Clement II; two great-grandchildren, Sean A. Barrick and Kyleigh L. Brooks.

Betty was retired from Henrico County Food Service at Godwin High School with 36 years of service, doing what she loved. She also was a lifetime member of the Boot Scooters Country Western Dance Club. Betty was loved by everyone and was always willing to help anyone regardless of their needs.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, 1706 St. Matthew's Lane, Rockville, Va. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
