Betty Main Cole

Betty Cole Obituary COLE, Betty Main, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 4, 2024. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Hatcher Cole; and her children, Andrew Hatcher Cole, III (Robin), Bryon Paul Cole (Diane), Nancy Cole Cardounel (Humberto), and Cindy Cole Bain (Chip). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lindsay Krodel (Josh), Rachel Cole, Landon Cole (Emily), Judson Cole (Brianna), Sarah Cole, Hailey Hudson (Ryan), Katie Mueller (Alex), Andrew Cardounel, Hatcher Bain, Carson Bain, Jacob Bain (Tina) and Jessica Elmore (Jon); and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Raymel Stein of Hartfield, VA. Mrs. Cole was an active member of Derbyshire Baptist Church for over 50 years and a member of the Koinonia Bible Class and the Footprints Class. She graduated from Hampton High School in Hampton, VA, and attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. Services will be held at Derbyshire Baptist Church, 8800 Derbyshire Road, Henrico, VA, in the Copeland Sanctuary on May 14th at 11 a.m. The family will receive guests at the reception in Bryant Hall immediately following the service. Following the reception there will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Westhampton Cemetery for those wishing to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Derbyshire Baptist Church.
