Burnett "Butch" Vincent Ledford Jr.

Ledford Jr., Burnett “Butch” Vincent, 71, of Richmond, VA passed away on May 11, 2024. He was born on September 19, 1952, in Richmond, VA. He is preceded in death by his father, Burnett Vincent Ledford Sr. and his mother, Bessie Hardy Ledford. Butch attended Manchester High School, worked for Satterwhite Printing Company, and was later employed as a Professional Courier. His most important jobs were dad and coach. He spent many years at the ball field coaching his daughters and all of “his girls” on a variety of softball teams including Huguenot Little League teams, Richmond Rage, Richmond Storm, Richmond Rampage, and Monacan Chiefs. He is survived by his children, Becky Wright (Rasheed), Jackie O’Toole (Brendan), Andy Ledford (Tara), his sister, Carolyn Riley (John), niece Heather Conn (Marty), nephew Jay Riley, and his eight grandchildren, Rayne, Rozi, Rielle, Reve, Andrew, Katie Grace, Landon, and McKenzie. In lieu of flowers, please support women’s sports or enjoy a fastpitch softball game. A memorial service will be held at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd, Richmond, VA 23229 on May 21 at 1pm. A graveside service will follow the memorial service.
