Charles Anthony Bannister, 66, of Richmond, passed away December 18, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Barbara Bannister; sisters, Rosemary and Janet; brothers, Michael, John and Patrick. He is survived by his son, Adam C. Bannister; two sisters, Kathleen Bannister and Judy B. Kostyniuk; two brothers, Luke O. and Martin J. Bannister; and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a Network Engineer before retiring to Richmond. A prayer service will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 7 p.m. with a visitation to follow until 8:30 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd.
