Charles Stanley Joyner

JOYNER, Charles Stanley, 85, of Richmond, passed away November 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie and James Joyner; his sisters, Marian Turner, Gene Johnson, Ann Holland, and Hyla Brinkley; nephew, Mike Anderson; and sister in law, Carolyn Stone.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Hayes Joyner; sister in law, Ellamae Anderson; nieces, Mary Lou Lehman, Jan White, and Lisa Davis; nephews, Joey T. Brinkley, James Brinkley, James Holland, Jr., William Andrew Holland and David H. Stone; great nephews, Neal White, Gary White, Glenn White, John Davis and Michael Potvin; great nieces, Taylor Stone, and Jessica Stone.

He was a Partner of Joyner, Kirkham, Keel and Robertson P.C., member of the Downtown Club, and a lifetime member of Zuni Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm, Thursday, November 13, 2014, at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd, Richmond. Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Friday, November 14, 2014, in the Mausoleum at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Zuni Presbyterian Church, or the Shriners Childrens Hospital.
