Charles Vincent Niemyer was born December 30th, 1940. A man of many words and the only man that could make white hair look so good; went to be with his heavenly father who he worshiped faithfully, on September 18th, 2022. Charles was a firm Catholic and never walked in faith alone. Aside from serving our Lord, he served our country as a soldier in The United States Army. Those two attributes alone made him truly honorable. However, what was dear to his heart was his family.
He was a proud brother, Uncle, and friend. He wasn’t Charles to us; he was Bud and Uncle Charlie. It was never a dull moment when it came to Charles. He was so full of life and his sense of humor was one to brace for impact. He was known to be very protective over the women in his family; and though he is gone he is still watching over his girls. Heaven gained an Angel and though its hard Charles is now at peace.
Charles’s loss is felt by us all. We want to say thank you to everyone who sent a prayer, cards, flowers, or made a call. His life here on Earth is done, but memories can be brought up in recall. Your kind words and sympathy are felt by us all in your endless empathy. The family of Charles V. Niemyer would like to thank Woody Funeral home, The Richmond Veterans Affairs, Officer Clemmons, Father Jim Scullion, and The United States Army for their generosity as we pay tribute to the life of our beloved Charles Vincent Niemyer.
A graveside service for Charles will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd., Triangle, VA 22172.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.woodyfuneralhomeparham.com for the Niemyer family.
