Claire Hodge Dovel died Saturday, October 15, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Dovel Winston (Joe); three grandchildren, Joanna W. Bergeron (Chris), Will Winston, and Jonathan Daniel; and three great-grandchildren. She was an accomplished nurse who served the community for more than 30 years at Richmond Memorial Hospital. The family will remember her life at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20 at Trinity United Methodist Church at 903 Forest Avenue, Richmond, Virginia. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
