Colette Hough

Our sweet Colette past away unexpectedly, but peacefully in her sleep. Since she came into our lives, she was the jokester in the family. She loved animals especially bunnies, dogs, cats and chickens. She was very close and loyal to her sisters and parents. She was quick-witted and had a gentle heart and could make a friend any place she would go, always quick to give a hug or a compliment. Her favorite subject in school was math and in the last year, after playing for many years, she learned to love the piano which became one of her favorite hobbies. Colette was sporty and enjoyed volleyball, weightlifting, pickleball and tennis. She could barbell squat her own weight. She was breathtaking and gorgeous when she smiled and had her own unique sense of style. She took her coffee black. While on vacations, she was always up for adventures such as jumping off cliffs, swimming far into the ocean, or skiing down slopes as fast as she could, straight down over and over. She suffered from intractable migraines, but did it quietly and with grace and determination. She was a very resilient girl. She was polite to a fault and always had time to help someone who needed her. She is predeceased by: Her grandmother Donna Shapiro. She is survived by: Her mother Jo-Ann, her father Bruce, her sisters Madeleine and Sophie, her aunts Jill Hough and Lisa Shapiro, her uncles Joey Shapiro, Gary Tudor, and Shelby McIntyre, her grandparents Robert M. Hough and Joyce V. Hough and her grandfather Joseph H. Shapiro. Colette we will miss you terribly until the end of our time. You will always be a part of our family. You will always be in our hearts and our minds. We loved you before you were born and feel blessed to have been able to call you our daughter. If planning on attending services, colorful dress attire is acceptable.
