GENTRY, Creola "Cricket" Johnson, passed away June 21, 2017. Cricket was born on July 16, 1931, in Roan Mountain, Tenn. She is survived by her husband, Robert William Gentry; daughter, Deborah Gentry Blanchard; grandsons, Robert (Kymberly) Blanchard and Matthew Blanchard (fiancee, Kira Scafidi); and brother, Paul Johnson.
Cricket had a passion for helping children and was a longtime pediatric nurse retiring from Richmond Memorial Hospital. Services will be private per her request.
