Doris Dean Collier, 78, of Richmond, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013, She was born to the late John and Madge Cooper in Roanoke Rapids NC. Doris was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Doris is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years Frank Collier. She is also survived by her children Gloria Dean Kirkland and husband Richard, Robert Collier Jr., and Barbara Ann Collier. Four grandchildren Heather M. Collier, Mary E. Collier, April Lynn Harris, Amanda Lee Harris, three great grandchildren; Hannah M. Collier, Donovan R Harrison, and Ahliyah L. Jackson, and many loved nieces and Nephews and family friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA, 23229. The funeral service will be on Friday, November 15, 2013 , 11:00 am at Lighthouse Baptist Church on Staples Mill Rd. with interment following at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
