Dottie was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Stuart Lee Williams. Her father, William H. Poarch, mother Ruth Hamlett Poarch, her brother William H. Poarch II, and sisters, Erma R. Poarch (Bootie) and Virginia P. Reynolds (Bebe).
She is survived by her sons, Honorable Stuart L. Williams. Jr., wife Jane, and Jon C. WIlliams. Grandson Christopher W. Williams and great-grandchildren Addision Isabella and Colton Ryan Williams.
Dottie graduated from Greenville High School and attended Longwood University until she transferred to medical training at St. Luke's Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. She worked as an allergy technician for Dr. John Catlett and later for Richmond Allergy and Asthma Associates for forty years.
She was a long time member of River Road Church Baptist. She held memberships in the Tri Club and the Tuckahoe Women's Club.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held on February 3rd, 2025 at 1:00 pm. In the Chapel at River Road Church Baptist.
