She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph John and Dorothy Feuda, and brother-in-law Fred De Andrea. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Richard Buthe; brother Joseph Feuda, Jr. and Sister Mary Ann DeAndrea, sons Paul Buthe, Jeff and wife Mary-Margaret Buthe; step-son Richard Buthe; her grandchildren Nathan, Ayla, Autumn, Thomas, and Matthew Buthe; her nephews Fred, Douglas, and David De Andrea.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and raised in Magnolia, NJ, moved with her family to Virginia in 1975, worked at James Madison University beginning in 1987, and retired in 2013. She then moved to Richmond, to be near her family. She will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and compassionate person and she will be greatly missed by those blessed to have known her.
The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to service, from 12 noon to 1pm. A chapel service will be at 1pm at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Road, Henrico VA 23229. Interment to follow at, Westhampton memorial park.
