

FORD, Frank L., Sr., 79, of Richmond, leapt into the arms of his heavenly father, Sunday, February 22, 2015. His precious daughter, Vicki preceded him in death as did his parents, William and Elsie; his siblings, Elizabeth Horne and Henry Ford. He is survived by his dedicate and loving wife of 59 years, Kay; sons, Michael and Frank, Jr. (Jennifer); son-in-law, Isaac Miller; grandchildren, Amanda (Glenn), Shannon, Darby, Milyn, Samantha, Shane and Connor; great-grandsons, Cody and Evan; three brothers, and two sisters. Frank served his country in the Air Force. He attended the University of Kentucky and had many businesses over the years and became an accountant. He was given the honor of speaking at the Southern Baptist Convention in 1974 on lay evangelism. His passion was teaching Sunday School and counseling with people. He loved his family, church, teaching and witnessing his faith. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Thursday, February 26, at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Frank’s funeral service will be held 11am Friday, February 27, at Grove Ave. Baptist Church, 8701 Ridge Rd., Richmond, Va.
