Gladys Blanton Stanley

Gladys B. Stanley, 97, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 11, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband of 76 years, James D. Stanley, Jr.; her sister, Eula Hatfield; and her brother, Clyde Blanton. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela S. Marth; two grandchildren, C. Scott Porter (Sarah) and Kristin P. Officer (Ray); three great-grandchildren, Jack Porter and Olivia and Julia Officer. Gladys was known for her gentle and sweet demeanor. She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed making floral arrangements, and could make a beautiful bouquet with nothing but weeds. There will be a brief gravesite service at Westhampton Memorial Park on Friday at 11 a.m.
