Hazel Ransone Parrish died at home on September 13, 2017, at age 91. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earle; her grandson, Earle III; and eight siblings. She is survived by her son, Earle Jr. and his special friend, Jen Rush and her son, Issac; daughter, Sue Bess; and daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Billy Simmons; one great-grandson, Earle IV; and many nieces and nephews.
Hazel is the last of her generation; she loved to cook, but even more she loved her family. The family would like to thank Hazel's caregivers and a special thanks to Hazel's niece, Geralyn Koeberlein.
The family will receive friends and family at Woody Funeral Home, Parham on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 3 to 6 p.m. and on Monday, September 18, from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
