Huy Binh Tran, 66, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in Richmond, VA. Huy was born on April 20, 1954 in Saigon, Vietnam. He spent his career as a machinist/technician and retired as a long-time employee from Hauni Richmond. He is loved as an amazingly selfless and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and person.
Huy was preceded by his parents, Hien Tran and Muoi Truong, and his brother Chung Tran. Huy is survived by his beloved wife, Kim Du Tran; children, Linh Tran-Sadiarin and husband Brian Sadiarin, Anna Tran-Anderson and husband Bayne Anderson; grandchildren, Leah, Kara and Carter Anderson; siblings, Thuong and Dung Nguyen, Cuong and Ly Tran, Hon and Gloria Tran, Ky and Linh Tran, Nga and Dean Yung; several nephews and nieces, along with all of this extended family members and friends.
Huy is fondly remembered for his kind smile and compassionate spirit. He loved his family deeply and made it a life’s mission to ensure that his family was taken care of and had a better and brighter future ahead of them. He loved bringing his family together through get-togethers and vacations.
Visitation will be open for family and friends at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. A celebration of life service will be held for close family by invitation only on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
