John Loren Bowles

John Loren Bowles, 64, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 29, 2021. John was born April 24, 1957. He is survived by his loving mother, Jane Wiltshire Trice; step-father, Carroll Trice; sister, Bonnie Graube; step-brother, Jeff Trice; step-sister, Debbie Wells; nieces, Carla Cox and her husband, Ryan and Susan Florance; great-nieces, Vivienne Cox and Gracelyn Cox; step-mother, JoAnne Bowles; half-sister, Kathy Wilmoth and half-brother, Tommy Bowles and his wife, Sara; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his dear friends at Hope Tree. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Bowles. John worked in the cafeteria for the University of Richmond. When he wasn't working he loved spending time with his family and visiting Nags Head and Disney World. He was a collector of stuffed animals, shells, Disney movies, nutcrackers and Christmas houses. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Woody Funeral Home-Parham, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 1 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial & Cremation Park, 10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238.
