John Wayne Silby

John Wayne Silby, 75, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Clara Silby; siblings, Louise Smotrys, Virginia Pike, Herbert Heath, George Heath, and Edward Heath. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Cynthia Silby-Dezsi (David); her mother, Brenda L. Silby; siblings, Raymond Heath (Marie), Robert Heath, Bernard Heath; caregivers, Wayne and JoAnn Smotrys; as well as a host of extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 22, at 11 a.m. in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr., Sandston, Va. 23150 with Rev. Ken Webb officiating. At the request of the family, all guests are asked to wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church, 3100 Gay Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
