TEAGUE, John Henry, 70, of Richmond, Va., went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, JoAnn Hogston Teague; a son, John Harlan Teague (Paige); daughter, Joy Heather Wise (Bobby);, grandchildren, Taylor, Hailey and Hatcher Teague and Cole, Ben and Wesley Wise and Emma Ebel. Also survived by sisters, Dolly Smith and Brenda Eastridge; and wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Mattie Short Smith and Eugene Smith; and brothers, Dave Smith and Charles Teague. After moving to Richmond in 1967, he founded Teague Enterprises. John spent 10 years volunteering for the Tuckahoe Rescue Squad, where he made lifelong friendships and served as president. He served on the Board of Directors at Vasco for 32 years. Memorial service to be held at Gayton Baptist Church, 1305 N. Gayton Rd., on September 13, 2016, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad, 1101 Horsepen Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229.
