Born on August 3, 1946, in Bland, Virginia to Faye and Carl Cash, Judy’s life was a symphony of love, dedication and grace. Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Richard “Dick” Meador; her only son, Richard “Rich” Meador and his wife, Jennifer Meador and her grandson, “BooBoo” Ryan Meador; as well as her close family, Roy and Judy Kaufelt, Willie, Jennifer and Kaitlyn Cline, Toni Burnett; and her beloved siblings to Elwood, Carolyn and John. She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye; father, Carl; and brother, Junior Cash.
For over 45 years, Judy lent her talents as a payroll specialist with the International Mission Board, a testament to her unwavering commitment to helping others. Her work was a reflection of her soul, a beacon of light that shone bright for all to see. But her biggest passion was her grandson, BooBoo. They went everywhere together, from school to the beach to sleepovers. He was her pride and joy and boy, did she spoil him! She’d sing wiggles songs to him and help him with his homework. She even made him breakfast in bed - talk about a phenomenal NeNe! When not spending time with Boo-Boo she also enjoyed reading, cooking for her husband of 56 years and knitting and crocheting, a testament to her creative spirit.
Judy’s life was a tapestry of beauty, woven with threads of love, kindness and compassion. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her, a reminder of the beauty that exists in this world. Rest in peace, dear Judy, and know that your light will continue to shine bright, guiding us all towards a better tomorrow.
