It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Cheatham, who left us on August 14, 2024, at the age of 68. Keith was born on September 1, 1955, who resided in Richmond Virginia and lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents Thomas “Lawson” and Elizabeth Cheatham. Keith is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Cheatham. Together for 36 years, they shared a lifetime of cherished memories and unwavering support. He was a loving father to Jennifer (Joe) Nonnemacker, Keith (Christina) Cheatham Jr., and Katelyn Cheatham. He was a proud grandfather to Nathan Grounds, Dylan Cheatham, and Grayson Cheatham. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas (Linda) Cheatham. His family was his greatest joy, and he took immense pride in each of them.
Keith worked as a diesel mechanic for majority of his life and enjoyed being in his garage working on various projects. Keith will be remembered for his kind heart, his generosity, and his unwavering commitment to those he loved. He was a man of great integrity and strength, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
A celebration of Keith’s life will be held at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd, Richmond, VA 23229 on August 23rd, 2024. Visitation will start at 1pm, service at 2pm and a reception following the service. All who knew him are welcome to join us in honoring his memory and sharing in the stories that made his life special.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
