

LAWLOR, Martin C., 89, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013. Martin was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Raymonde Lawlor; brother, Jack Lawlor and sister, Betty Lawlor; son-law, Robert Warner. He is survived by three children, Sylvie Lawlor Barnett (Robert), of Va. Beach, Va., George Lawlor (Sherryle), of Orlando, Fla. and Christine Lawlor Warner of Pearisburg, Va.;brother, Noel Lawlor; sister, Veronica Lawlor Kiernan (Thomas) of Dublin, Ireland; brother, Leo Lawlor of London, UK; six grandchildren, Kelly and Robert Warner of Pearisburg, Va. Alyssa Barnett of Va. Beach, Laurren, Emily and Nataile Lawlor of Orlando, Fla., and devoted caregiver, Jackie Barnes.
Martin served as a Corpsman in the British Navy, Chapter President of Richmond Managers Assoc., Club Managers Association of America (1972-1973). Martin served as Grand Marshall of Richmond’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in 2005. He spent his entire career in restaurant and private club management. He trained in Dublin, London and Paris, and completed his career at the Bull and Bear Club where he served as manager for 23 years until his retirement in 1989.
A memorial service will be held 5pm Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to charity of donor’s choice. Condolences may be made to woodyfuneralhomeparham.com.
