Mary Anne Gammon

Following a brief illness, Mary Anne, age 72 years, passed away on December 09, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit L. Gammon and Anne Nuckols Gammon, brother-in-law, Manny Sklaroff. She is survived by her sisters, Gwendolyn (Gwen) Sklaroff and Elizabeth (Betty) Fulgham and brother-in-law, Frank Fulgham, her nieces, Cathy Hale and Beth Sklaroff, great-nephews Steele and Cruz Hale, and great-niece Ella Sklaroff.

Mary Anne loved growing up in Rockville, Virginia with her sisters. Their lives were centered around their church and community.

She attended Lynchburg College, from which she earned her B.A. in Business Administration. Her career was in sales and banking.

Her greatest joys in life were time spent with family and friends, and enjoying nature. She enjoyed watching sports, working in her yard, and marveling at all creatures; her favorites were dogs, chipmunks, rabbits and bluebirds.

She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Services will be held on December 29, 2025, at Woody’s Funeral Home on Parham Road with Visitation at 1 PM and Services at 2PM. Private Interment.
