Michael Francis Thomson

Michael “Mike” Thomson was born in 1957 in Washington D.C. He was the second of four children born to Jack and Loretta Thomson. Mike passed away on August 31, 2024 in Richmond, Virginia with loved ones at his side.

Mike loved visiting Wyoming with his family. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and taking road trips out west.

Mike graduated from Bishop O'Connell High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in business from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). Although his career included managing and owning businesses, he was also a skilled self-taught mechanic and handyman. Mike loved helping family and friends with do-it-yourself projects.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother. He is survived by two children, two grandchildren, a brother and sister, one niece, two nephews, and his loving partner of 15 years. He will be deeply missed.
