

Otis David Williams Jr., “Q”, passed away peacefully at age 66 on January 10, 2026. Q was surrounded by friends and family. Q is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Williams. In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Nancy (Pete) Sturm and Joyce Crum, and nephews Bobby (Patty) Crum and Billy (Sara) Crum. Other family members include his sister-in-law Carol Parsons, and nieces Vicki (Nate) Grubaugh and Jacki (Sam) Vaselich, four great nieces. two great nephews and his cousin Butch Williams. Q lived and worked to travel. He was proud of visiting all 50 states and traveled internationally. Q was a lifetime member of the Virginia Jaycees. Q and Pat met through the Jaycees, and it was a match made in heaven with their mutual love of travel and adventure. Q was kind and generous to all. He was incredibly intelligent and enjoyed studying space exploration and ancient aliens. Q was a long-time employee of Estes International Express Lines. A special shout out goes to friends of Pat and Q, known as “The Sister Wives of Avenue Q”, for their decades of love and devotion. Pat gives her heartfelt thanks to all who helped her and Q during his illness. Q is with the stars in heaven now on his celestial adventure. Funeral and burial arrangements are private. A celebration of Q’s life will be held this spring.
