Ralph loved his country and served as a combat engineer with the 613th and then as a combat infantryman with the Third Army in WWII under General Patton. He earned four Battle Stars and a combat infantry badge in Normandy and Northern France. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army or the Wounded Warriors Project.
