Randolph "Randy" Victor Crockett, entered Heaven's gates on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Candy Crosby Crockett; his father, Robert Ralph Crockett; and brother, Charles Thomas Crosby. He is survived by his son, Jason Timothy Crockett; daughter, Kelly Brooke Taylor (Crockett); daughter, Jessie Michelle Crockett; son, Kevin Christopher Crockett; grandchildren, Lucas Bryant Crockett, Lucy Grace Taylor, Brandon Scott Taylor Jr., Lona Kinley Crockett; brother, Rev. Nicky Eugene Crosby; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
During his youth, Randy was a devoted Tucker Tiger (class of 1974) and enjoyed playing basketball.
Before retirement, Randy was a truck driver for Ward Trucking and had previously owned his own courier company, RC Courier. Randy enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the Hokies and the Raiders on the football field and always had a soft spot for animals. Randy will be forever missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, at Parham Road Baptist Church, 2101 N. Parham Road, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the ASPCA.
