Richard Rich Michael Addams

Richard "Rich" Addams, 70, of Richmond, passed away on October 28, 2013 at Retreat Doctors' Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit in Richmond, Va., He was born April 5, 1943 in Carbondale, Pa., to Michael and Rose Adams.

Richard is survived by his wife, Diane Fisher; daughter, Dena Legnaioli and husband Christopher; grandson, Wade; sons, Jeffrey and Jason Addams; brothers, Robert Adams and wife JoAnn, Michael Adams and wife Mary; three nieces, Alyssa, Michelle, and Marlene.

Richard worked for Whitten Brothers of Richmond as a Finance Manager for over 15 years but has spent 40 years in the Automobile and Finance industry. He was an avid Golfer, enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved his extended family of cats.

The famiy wishes to extend their gratitude to HCA Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest and Retreat Doctors' Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit for their support in his final days.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm, on Thursday, October 31, at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., with visitation one hour prior to service from 11am to 12pm. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Rd, Richmond, Va. 23220.
